After appending the data, you will see the WorkSpace in your user

interface. The same process applies to all other assets you want to bring

from external files. You can use the Append option to pull 3D models,

materials, textures, animation, or anything else you wish to reuse.

Info: As you might see from the example of the Append tool, it is

imperative to assign meaningful names inside Blender. Whenever you

have an object that you want to use later in future projects, it will make

the process a lot easier to locate important assets by name.

1.3 Active editor and shortcuts

Before we start to discuss shortcuts and tools for 3D navigation in

Blender, you must become familiar with a core concept of the user

interface. You must be aware of the active Editor. The active Editor is

vital to define where you will use a particular shortcut or tool in Blender.
